Here's what's motivating me. I had a falling accident back in 1993 that left me paralyzed from the waist down. The irony of it is... I broke my back the same night my band (at the time) and I signed a recording deal with an Indy label from Cleveland. Ain't life funny that way? Oh well, what's done is done. Now... how do I get out of this chair? I am active in doing my part to bring about a cure for Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI). I'm not a doctor or researcher, but I do run the Pittsburgh chapter of the Spinal Cord Society, a grassroots organization dedicated to getting US out of these chairs and keeping YOU out of them.
