Born to a musical family, he developed a love for music at an early age. Eldon left home at 14, and, at 17, he returned to his family's roots and worked as a Cowboy on ranches throughout Western Canada. At 18, Eldon began riding bucking horses in local Rodeos. Working Cowboys are men with many trades. Eldon continues to shoe horses and drive truck to offset the cost of riding broncs and singing and writing songs - his true passions. In 2002, he is ranked in the top ten in saddle bronc riding in the B.C. Rodeo Association. Eldon currently resides near the sage-brush hills along the Thompson River in Kamloops B.C. His songs reflect his love and respect for the cowboy way of life. |
