About the Artist:
Juanita has enjoyed much success as both a live performer and a studio session singer. She sang the original demo of the song Almost Paradise made famous by Anne Wilson of Heart and Mike Reno of Loverboy. She has performed in different rock bands that have included members of BTO and Trooper.
An accomplished singer-songwriter, Juanita has two critically acclaimed CDs out.
She performs both live and on TV in venues around North America including Vancouver and Las Vegas.
Juanita's fans are amazed by the intensity and incredible energy that she delivers at her live performances. Whether there are 100 or 1000 people, the passion for her music is evident. Sitting behind the grand piano and belting out an emotional ballad or commanding the stage with a high powered rocker, there is an obvious force that takes over her being.
Juanita feels strongly about giving back to the community through her music. She has written and performed songs for the Canadian Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Autism Society has been the featured performer at many fundraiser events.
